Stacky Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how MIRAI STUDIO, Inc. (the "Operator", "we") handles user information in connection with the application "Stacky" (the "App").

Stacky handles sensitive information such as clipboard history and text snippets. Our core principle is to keep this information on your device and to receive as little of it as possible.

1. Core Principles

Clipboard contents, history, and snippets saved in the App are, as a rule, stored only on your device.
This content is never transmitted to our servers.
The App shows no advertising. We use no advertising SDKs or tracking features, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored only on your device (and, optionally, in iCloud as described below). We cannot view or obtain it.

Text and other content you save from the clipboard
Save history, timestamps, and the type of capture source
Snippets, tags, and variable templates you create
App settings

3. iCloud Sync (CloudKit)

Only when you turn on the iCloud Sync feature, the above content is stored in your own private iCloud database (Apple's CloudKit) and synced across your own devices.

This sync stays entirely within your own Apple Account. We cannot access this data.
Handling of synced data is also subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and iCloud terms.
When iCloud Sync is off, information is stored only on your device and no sync occurs.

4. Purchase Information

Purchases of the App's paid features (Pro) are made through Apple's In-App Purchase.

Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive your credit card or other payment details.
To manage and verify purchases, we use a service provided by RevenueCat, Inc. Purchase receipt information is sent to and processed by RevenueCat. This information never includes your clipboard contents or snippets.

5. Usage Measurement

To improve the App, we may transmit a minimal amount of information about usage.

When transmitted, this is limited to event information about interactions, such as whether a feature was used and whether a paywall (purchase screen) was shown or a purchase was made.
Clipboard contents, snippet contents, and any personally identifiable information are never included in this measurement.

6. Password-Like String Exclusion

The App offers an optional feature that excludes strings that appear to be passwords from automatic saving. This feature is supplementary and does not guarantee the exclusion of all confidential information. Please also take care yourself when handling highly sensitive information.

7. The Mac Version

The Mac version of the App is distributed using Apple's Developer ID. The Mac version recognizes Pro status purchased on iOS or the Web through your own iCloud. In this process as well, we do not receive your clipboard contents.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Handling of information by each service is governed by its respective terms and policies.

RevenueCat, Inc. (purchase management)

9. Children

The App is not directed to children of any particular age group. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy as needed. If we make significant changes, we will announce them within the App or on this page. If you use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Policy.

11. Governing Law

This Policy is interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
